QA (Geo, Tony)

  • (do not delete) See Gaia/E2E notes at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Gaia/Meeting_Notes
  • Notice for build priority - switching nightly build priority to Open C > Flame. Reasoning:
    • High urgency to get off Buri for 1.4 testing - want to get onto a device with JB at least over ICS
    • Contractors already have 5 devices, with another 4 at a minimum being sent over. More devices might be sent over based on device availability.
    • Concern over missing JB-specific bugs right now
    • Flame device is not reliable right now for reference testing due to white screen of death problem - will move to flame later when it becomes reliable
  • 2nd test run to start on March 20th for 1.4
  • Tarako testing active right now - exploratory & smoke

  • How does "Connection Detection" work on Audio jack?
    • Headphone gets connection detected
    • However, regular 3.5mm cable connected to Audio In on computer, or to a Line In on a car does not get detected on Firefox OS. (TCL OTF 1.1 from Brazil)
