Rough notes

  • comm dev
    • first draft - check out http://wiki.mozilla.org/Verbatim
    • description of what is needed and what needs to be done
    • dashboard for localizers on translate related activities, lowering barrier to localization for all of our projects, web interface activity, etc.
    • Action: Mic to add stuff to verbatim under Links
    • see bug 430085 somewhat related
    • We need experimentation
    • Ned inventory of where all data is, conventions we're using to get data out of bugzilla, may have data come out of other tools like Pootle
    • Need place to capture all projects so we can see those and progress against them
    • ACtion: mic organize
  • fx 3 release
    • In product pages - Localizers are ok/good even, 80% of locales are done, those that are not done we're not shipping so it's ok, pure localization side is good, visual aspects of pages, lots of bugs like text overflowing, button doesn't work dependent on pascalc/steve garrity for help
    • Product wise in fine shape; sad discussion about Kurdish
  • mailto, webcal feature issues
  • summit update
  • round table

mailto and webcal late l10n, will come up for 3.0.1 for later. Axel believes we may not be doing the right thing, Action: Axel send email to beltzner, mfinkle, dotske, kev, copy dmose, shaver, mic, after thursday to discuss. Alternative is for server side change on part of provider vs our side change and bug filing etc
