Eudora feature that sets it apart from other packages: 1) It is self contained, you can move the entire Eudora folder from one PC to another and be ready to run on the new PC. 2) Can select the location for the Eudora folder and data folder at time of installation. And you know where all your stuff is located. This is not the case with Outlook which does not allow you to select a location 3) Eudora has individual files for In, out and user defined folders that are easy to locate and move if necessary. 4) Where Thunderbird and Outlook cause major problems is the fact that everything is kept in one file which gets very big and then easily gets corrupted. I believe Outlook has a 2 gig size limitation.

The team should consider these internal features of Eudora that makes it a far better and easier to use package then Outlook, Thunderbird or others.

I am hopeful that the open source team creates a new and better Eudora rather then an enhanced Thunderbird or Outlook with some of the Eudora features.

More to come.....

A Eudora user going back to version 1. Supporting many Eudora users who are able to use most of the Eudora features and love the package...
