BarCamp Bordeaux +BarCamp Bordeaux is an unconference that is a completely free to attend and based loosely around the theme of: innovative, unusual, and amusing examples of information and technology BarCamp Bordeaux is a technology conference with a difference. It's more like a gathering of enthusiastic people that are into tech, gadgets, science, or just about anything else that's geeky and fun. There will be plenty of entertaining sessions and workshops on the day, and when sessions aren’t running, there’s usually other fun stuff happening: food and drink, games, conversation, silliness, and people hacking on projects. You can go to any session you like, and if you don’t find a session interesting, you can leave and go to another. There is very little in the way of a formalised programme for the event and sessions will be finalised on the day. This event is not being run by [[User:ricomoro|Eric (ricomoro)]] however is going to be attended by him. The event organisers approached Eric as a Mozilla Rep to ask for sponsorship for the event. Dates for the event are yet to be finalised however the event will be run around Easter 2012  +

BarCamp Vientiane 2011 +Barcamp Vietinane 2011 is annual gathering of barcampers from Lao's and other SE. Asian countries. BarCamp is an international network of user-generated conferences (or better unconferences). They are open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants. The first BarCamps focused on early-stage web applications, and were related to open source technologies, social protocols, and open data formats. The format has also been used for a variety of other topics. In Asia, you will find also topics about culture.  +
BarCampDakar +The procedural framework of a BarCamp may vary from one place to another in accordance with the twin principles of "non-conference" and "all participants". In the initial model, the Barcamp starts with an introduction of participants in the form of a round table where everyone gives their name, affiliation (company, association), if it has one, and three key words that allow to identify its interests. Then participants are asked to include the topic of interest on a large sheet of paper which will then be displayed on the wall. This takes the form of a matrix with one side rooms or tables available on the other slots. All participants are encouraged to submit a project or to assist during an intervention. Barcamp to prepare and facilitate the monitoring, it is advisable to register in advance the subjects that you would like to discuss on the Barcamp wiki page and it is asked each to share information and experiences received at the event, both during and after this one, thanks to the internet public channels, blogs, sharing photos, wikis, to blogrolls and instant messaging software.  +
