(not as high priority as root password project but something to look at)

    • Linux32 - Lawrence has given approval for this change in the next release cycle
    • gchang (Gerry Chang) from Taipei office is interested in helping out with buildduty during his timezone
    • This mana page describes all the releng clusters

https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/websites/Releng+Cluster

    • Are there any services that you interact with that are missing? (We are preparing to move these systems and incorporating a standard deployment scenario)

05.05.2016 - 05.11.2016

  • https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1271452 - Create 2 more Windows tests masters per AWS region
    • pinned some Win 7 testers to the newly created masters, they are taking jobs and complete them without issues
    • attached the patch to enable the masters
  • https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1271550 - Add new 10.10.5 machines to releng configs
    • we’ll need a reconfig so that the patch that I landed reaches the production branch
    • I’ll also have to enable the new slaves in slavealloc
  • https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1271394 - Enable all standard tests on projects/larch branch
    • In progress
  • [root password rotation]
    • sent another e-mail these days with the updates
    • in bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1264233, we decided to also use “maximum-security” aspects for puppet masters and deploystudio machines (as we do for signing servers and signing workers)
    • we are ready to go on and update the hiera secrets file with new entries, but we’d need approval and eventually some suggestions on how the process should go
