Win2008 & Win7

• start -> run -> netplwiz
  • On W7, the 'Run' option is hidden when using RDP. Use a VNC client with a Windows key mapped and use WIN-R.
• uncheck the option “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” and immediately re-check it
• click OK
• account: cltbld, enter new password twice. Note that the password is not verified, so do it right!

Win2003 & XP

• start -> run -> control userpasswords2
• enter administrator password
• uncheck the option “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” and immediately re-check it
• click OK
