How to add Drumbeat.org/Festival blog posts
To have them appear on this page:
http://www.drumbeat.org/drumbeat_festival_2010
1) Add your blog post to your personal blog as you normally would.
(NOTE: this step is optional, but recommended. If you don't have a personal blog or don't want to post there, just skip to step 2)
- Most of you have processes for adding posts to your own personal blog, etc. And then using tagged feeds to have them appear on Planet Drumbeat, etc.
- THIS IS STILL THE BEST WAY TO START. It ensures that your post will be seen by more people. And show up on a) Planet Mozilla, b) the front page of Drumbeat.org, etc.
- It will also create HTML that you can use to copy & paste in step 2.
2) Add your post as a Festival Blog post
- Click here to add the post to the Festival blog:
http://www.drumbeat.org/node/add/drumbeat-festival-blog-post
- Copy and paste your post. Easiest way to do it: click "disable rich text" and then copy / paste the HTML from your original post in step 1.
- (To copy the HTML, just use "view source" or switch from WYSIWYG in Wordpress, etc.)
- Note: You don't have to paste in HTML. You can also just type or paste in plain text.
3) Hit "save"at the bottom
- That's it! Your post will now appear on the Festival blog page here:
