The following testplan tracks testing for bug 867337 Plugin CTP request: Flash 11.5.*-11.6.602.175.

Staging

Testing

1. Install the Flash version
2. Start Firefox with a new profile
3. Set extensions.blocklist.interval=10
4. Replace addons.mozilla.org with addons-dev.allizom.org in extensions.blocklist.url
5. Restart Firefox
6. Open the error console and eval the following code (Note: there will be no indication in the Error Console if the ping succeeded):

Components.classes["@mozilla.org/extensions/blocklist;1"].getService(Components.interfaces.nsITimerCallback).notify(null);

7. Load plugin content and you should see a click-to-play overlay
