  • New Malay locale on Beta/Aurora
    • Softvision did a smoketest run and found no specific issues
    • Keep your eye out for bugs/issues being reported by new users
    • Automation - ensure daily Aurora testruns are occurring against this locale

  • Safe Browing API test
  • pkix cert validation compatibility test

Automation

  • [Henrik] - A little late this morning
  • Working hard on Metro support included in mozmill - bit blocked on various mozbase issues and its move to mozilla-central
  • We need feedback from Juan regarding possible Metro tests to automate

Stability

  • Nightly had two larger crash issues this week, both should be solved in today's builds (one with HTTP connections [bug 973207], one mac-only with Zimbra and other sites [bug 973308]).
  • 28 Beta 3 has a large crasher with <input type=number> - should be fixed in Beta 4.
  • The crash fix in 27.0.1 works fine.
  • Memory poisoning of free() landed on 30, we saw one crash with it so far, watch for addresses of 0x5a5a5a5a in crash stacks.

Discussion Items

  • Fixed bugs verification - since we started working on the bugs with target milestone 28 and no status flags for 28 too, the number of bugs that need verification more than doubled. Because of this we don't seem to have time to also verify Aurora bugs (for each of aurora 27 and aurora 28 we verified about 70-something bugs)
  • Merge of WebRTC and Talkilla teams
