Final testing of 1.2b3. Basically treating it as the release candidate for 1.2 final.

Point release with several fixes in UI and performance. Weave Update page

Current Tasks

• Testing 1.2b4
  • run through BFT's on primary platforms
• Verify fixed blocking and targeted bugs (translates to P1/P2 though not flagged that way)

Schedule

• QA starts: 4/5
  • BFTs: 1-2 persons (two days): 4/7 - 4/8
• Release midday 4/9

Builds

• 1.2b4 = experimental version

Test Results

  • test cases from spreadsheet run on Win 7 and Mac 10.6. Basic setup and syncing is a PASS. Any issues found are noted below.

• BLOCKER bug 557891. fixed, and awaiting patch. Dataloss issue.
• dataloss bug 558077 dupe folders with changing descriptions can nuke data on sync
• filed bug 558191 themes don't always dynamically sync
• INVALID filed bug 558217 - Bookmarklets are not syncing to fennec
• BLOCKER filed bug 558268 - Able to Reset Sync during Private Browsing mode.
• filed bug 558424 - Reset password email should come from a more reliable source
• BLOCKER? filed bug 558480 - Account Setup dialog steals focus from reading the TOC website
