Summary

The Crashkill group are the leading users of Socorro. This session is a chance for engineers and users to work together and outline goals.

Topics

  • Meet the new members on the Socorro team and take advantage of everybody onsite to meet face-to-face.
  • Walk through some of the typical crash analysis workflows we use regularly. The crashkill team met to go over these so we will have a diagram to walk through. Mostly we want to describe the types of analysis paths we use and what reports/info we refer to along the way.
  • Review a list of reports/features that the crashkill team has prioritized. These are things that will enhance the crash analysis workflow.
  • What will be the effect of the new release cycle on Socorro requirements?
    • There will, at a minimum, be changes needed to the homepage. (chowse is working on mocks.)
  • How will the short release cycle affect Socorro releases? We're still under embargo from the Firefox 4 release. How will we manage this in future?
  • Changes to version numbers. How will Socorro detect the channel associated with a particular build (buildbot lookup?)?

Desired meeting outcome: a draft set of Socorro team goals for Q2.
