Robert Heyen is an avid technologist with prior experience in the computer networking, training/e-learning and website development disciplines. Currently self-employed, Rob's current hobby-project is the Delvers of the Deep (DotD) website at http://delvers.org providing challenges for players of the Minecraft game/sandbox. One of the rewards DotD members receive for completing a collection of challenges is a Mozilla OBI-compliant digital badge as managed by the Credly service. Rob's interest in digital badge initiatives and their obvious advantages over traditional credentialing methods continues to grow, and is strongly being considered for future career opportunities.
