My Suggestion for Firefox 3

In Firefox 2, the default behavior for mouseover on the Back and Forward buttons outline what the buttons do. "Go back one page" or "Go forward one page".

My proposal is to change the button behavior to instead show the <title> element from the previous page, or a truncated amount of it, so that one can easily discern what the previous page was.

Unless it trespasses on previous ideologies presented for the Mozilla Project, I believe that this would be an appropriate step forward.

Another Suggestion: Assuming Firefox 3 ships with a Download Manager, the "Clear Finished" button should also close the window. When the DM is empty, there's really nothing more you can do with it but close it.

Again: if this interferes with already-set UI guidelines, disregard it.

Thanks for listening! :D
