I've been using Mozilla full-time for browsing and email since around 0.8.6 (early 2001).

A (mostly) reformed Windows user, I switched to SuSE Linux 9.2 at the beginning of this year. I still have a Windows 2000 machine or two kicking round. I also dabble with Solaris 10 for Intel when I've the time.

I've used both FireFox and the suite, and I really don't like the FF UI.

One thing I'd really like to see is making the installation process easier on Linux for relative newbies such as myself. Cross-distro RPMs would be very cool.

I'd also like to see native SVG support in the main builds.

Professional: I've been involved with Web development and design since 1997. Areas of expertise include various markups, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, PHP 4/5, MySQL, with bits of ASP, C++, and Python here and there as well. I've also co-authored and done TR work on a number of books on various topics in Web development and related areas (mostly JavaScript/DOM/PHP/MySQL) for Wrox Press and Apress. Most recent publication was MySQL Database Design for Apress in October 2004, and I'm now working on a PHP 5 book (also for Apress). In my "real" job, I'm a technical writer for MySQL AB, concentrating on the documentation for MySQL Cluster.
