  • Not sure what this actually was, but both hangs have been fixed meanwhile. Only waiting for bug 814430 to be backported to aurora

Highlights

• [henrik] The annoying abort jobs issue has finally been fixed by end of last week on mozilla-central and will be backported to aurora soon. So we shouldn't see any other aborted tests. See bug 814430.

• bug 774892 - Unable to type in Firefox if it's started with focusmanager.testmode enabled on Linux
• bug 805812 - Locale updates for Windows are offering the same build for updating from/to
• bug 745975 - Pulse: Repack builders for Firefox candidate builds (beta/release) should send out notifications for individual locales
• bug 757122 - Pulse: Notifications for finished builds should not be send out before the builds are available for download

Gaia UI (Dave)

• [davehunt] Fixed a framework issue when opening multiple apps via the launcher helper
• [davehunt] Fixed enable/connect WiFi to be much more stable

WebAPI (Rob)

• [rwood] Updated patch for bug 794301 [WebAPI] WebSMS: Develop a test to verify marking an SMS message read/unread
• [rwood] Finished two tests for MobileConnection WebAPI, awaiting developer feedback (bug 811580)
• [rwood] Now looking at Screen Orientation WebAPI, will sync up with Henrik
• [rwood] Dave is working on tests for the Battery Status WebAPI

WebRTC (Henrik)

• Turned off crashtests for remote browser tests (Cipc) given that we do not officially support Fennec yet (bug 811873)
• Leak checks have been disabled for mochitests on the alder project branch (bug 816489)
• Preparation of alder branch for upcoming mochitests
• First discussion of getting real faked devices for WebRTC tests

  • bug 807931 - Test failure "Active tab url should equal the page url - 'http://localhost:43336/mozilla_governance.html' should equal 'http://localhost:43336/mozilla_grants.html'" in testAwesomeBar/testSwitchToTab.js
    • did not reproduce with testrun or single run on local VM
    • no reports since 11/18
  • bug 772360 - Mozmill test failure //testBookmarks_AddAndRemoveBookmarkViaAwesomeBar/ with error "The bookmark was created "
    • found a build on which the issue reproduces once out of 100 times
    • added the list of attributes to the bug
  • bug 810820 - Test failure "Modal dialog has been found and processed" in /testSecurity/testEncryptedPageWarning.js
    • Fixed dependency. Now patch is added for review review
  • bug 813470 - Add a test page to litmus-data repository to test preferred language
  • bug 795831 - Add test files to litmus-data repository for video controls testing
  • bug 810301 - AddonsManager.close in lib/addon.js closes the current tab without checking if it is the addons manager

Roundtable

• [henrik] Mozmill CI failure reports on Bugzilla
  • I think once we know it's a frequent failure and we do not wait for further information about the issue we do not have to add comments to Bugzilla. It seems to be a waste of time for the commenter.
  • Do not only file new bugs if an issue appears first but also try to reproduce it. This action would allow us to fix issues faster.
