| The data from our first Context Graph experiment - the browsing habits of 10,000 users who have volunteered to share this data with us - will be ready for analysis in December. Time to roll up our sleeves!
| |
|
| |
| The project will involve putting together a proposal for a large scale data analytic or machine learning question, refining it, turning it into code, then running the code against our corpus of data. Then, doing it again. It's a chance to do research on how users use the web with real, live data.
| |
|
| |
| The ideal candidate will have experience in:
| |
| * Large-scale data analysis. Machine learning is a plus, but many of the early experiments are likely to be done heuristically.
| |
| * Git and github workflow
| |
| * A dynamic language (python is best)
| |
| * SQL. Other data systems are welcome, but the data is currently in Postgres.
| |
|
| |
| The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a rapidly-shifting environment, as we'll be iterating on experiments and ideas constantly.
