Design & Development work

Desktop

  • Flash! Still our #1 problem. No solution yet. The good news is that our Flash articles are performing well.
  • Firefox 15 - Michael is still researching what articles will need to be updated. Will have that posted by the end of the week.
    • Firefox 15 updates are due to go to localizers on July 31st.
  • User Education:
    • Michael and Matt met yesterday and looked at search logs and Susan's search analysis and came up with ten topics to prioritize for new and/or adjusted articles. Michael will start creating stub articles (summary and outlines) soon.
    • Michael and Roland met earlier this week to talk about a bigger user education vision. They'll be reaching out to Product Marketing, User Engagement and the Foundation to see what their goals and priorities are. We'll have a breakout session during the work week for anyone interested in thinking about this. We're collecting ideas here.

Mobile

  • Michelle is enjoying some time off this week.
  • Mobile (& Desktop) will ship Firefox 14.01 next week. No changes in 14.01 for mobile.
  • Firefox 15 for Android will have lots of changes. Firefox 15 updates are due to go to localizers on July 31st.
