Mozillians from Peru are involved with the organisation of this event since months ago. | |||
In a first step, we will have with a space in Lima Norte (one of the places where FLISOL will be held) at the north of Lima, the capital city. In that space we plan to show demostrations and videos about Firefox and Mozilla, answer questions for visitors, install Firefox in laptops and USBs and give swag to people who successfully installs Firefox. In this place the event will be focused on education and the organizers expect to gather many teachers and Education students, and non-technical people. | |||
In addition, we are planning to advise some teams in other cities in the country to have the same spaces in their local events. Now we are keeping touch with some of the 16 Peruvian cities that have FLISOL, but we were asking if there is possible that Mozilla will provide some additional swag for more cities (and we will dispatch to the rest of the country) or there is other methods of collaboration, like budget request. | |||
