Summary

The open web allows for myriad learning models. When people go to different learning sites and communities on the open web, we hope that they will allow their users to both earn and create badges in their learning environments. But, how do you know when a person should be awarded a badges? What assessment strategies will be put into place in online learning systems?

We believe that badges have the potential to revolutionize online learning and educational assessment. But, what we want to know is, 'what do you think?;

In this fun, interactive session, you will have an opportunity to give us your reactions as well as share your experiences and thoughts on digital assessment strategies.

What do you want to achieve? (goal)

To find out what the broad range of reactions and perspectives are about online learning and badges as assessment recognitions.

Who should come? How many? For how long? (audience)

Anybody interested in badges, assessment, accreditation, digital learning platforms. This will be an interactive and group sessions so you should stay for the whole thing.

What will they do when they get there? (activities)

In this fun, interactive session, you will have an opportunity to give us your reactions as well as share your experiences and thoughts on digital assessment strategies.
