Bookmarks in Awsomebar search results Test Plan

Requirements

  • Include bookmarks in the Awesome bar results screen
  • Provide a clear results page that includes bookmarks, domain auto-completion, search suggestions, history and the other content displayed when the user types in the URL bar
  • Bookmarks should include both local and synced

User Stories

  • As a user, I just want to get to where I want to go quickly and effortlessly, so instead of going into my bookmarks folder, my bookmarked page shows up on the results page for easy navigation.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Address is suggested after after first visit of the site
  • Address is suggested if the site is marked as bookmark and first letter is typed
  • Private Browsing: Address is suggested if the site is marked as bookmark and first letter is typed
  • Address is suggested if private data is cleared and site is marked as bookmark
  • Sync: Bookmarks synced from desktop should be displayed on IOS when typing first letter of the site
  • Address should not be displayed if the site is unmarked from bookmarks with history cleared

Additional Info:

  • This feature can be in 2.0 if bookmark sync is in 1.1.
