For Firefox 3.0 we did a lot of manual Memory Leak Tests for the new Features. For Firefox 3.1 QA runs as example continuously automated TopSite Tests as mentioned in the Platform Meeting.
The Question came up for which 1.9.1/3.1 new areas/features (Frontend/Backend) would you like to see focused manual leak testing coverage ?
As result from the Platform Meeting we have currently as areas for manual Memory Leak Testing:
-> Private Browsing -> Clear recent history -> Places -> Session Restore -> Worker Threads -> Video/Audio
(and as usual the Memory Leak Testing for Extensions, as i did for the Firefox 3.0 Release).
