Note: Make sure to start with a clean profile and have no repositories installed onto your device from Mozilla. Perform spotchecks on each build after update.

Maemo

Update from the Last Release

  1. Download and open/install the Mozilla Catalog
  2. Download and install the resulting latest release of Mobile Firefox from the App Manager
  3. Download and open/install the candidate repo which can be found here
  4. Download and install the resulting candidate build from the App Manager

Blocked Update from Nightly

  1. Download and open/install the most current Maemo Fremantle nightly build
  2. Download and open/install the latest candidate repo which can be found here
  3. Download and install the resulting candidate build from the App Manager

Android

Update from Last Beta Release using the Android Marketplace

  1. Open the Android Marketplace on your device
  2. Click on the system menu button
  3. Select "my apps"
  4. Download the new update
