This workshop on contemporary models of free and open adult education will explore ways in which the informal educational community will continue to be inspired and influenced by technology changes, particularly FLOSS methodologies, the GPL and Creative Commons licensing.  Non-formal learning models such as skillshares, workshops and autodidactic learning have been around for many years, however, over recent decades the internet has increased the ways in which we acquire, record and share knowledge. One project exploring both the social and informational freedoms of this new type of learning is Peer 2 Peer University's School of Webcraft.
