Download Manager
I believe the download manager should be capable of the following extra features
* Bandwidth Throttling per download, and for firefox as a whole * Prioritisation of downloads * Multipart downloading facility
The bandwidth throttlign aspect should be able to assign a percentage, to ensure that Firefox has enough capacity to download HTML while the user is browsing (say 10%)
I believe that in the download manager, each download should have an options button, which allows you to set a priority such as:
* Unique - Uses ALL available bandwidth (up to the max available under globall throttling (also available on download manager page * High * Medium * Low
The last three are, I believe, self explanatory.
These changes will make the user's experience much better while surfing with a background download, and allow larger downloads to not impact on their smaller downloads and surfing
