Instead it has links to several other pages, none of which explain in
simple language, how to sniff for Gecko instead of FireFox.
This page should show some gecko-based user agent strings, and show the part that is common to all of them. Instead, it merely suggests that there is such a common part, and leaves it up to every reader to figure out what that is. :-(
