  • new TextFrame rewrite in progress (roc posted checkpoint patch, he's actively working on this)
    • blocking on pango patch from Masayuki, to start implementing pango back-end bits
  • linux text rendering
    • anyone want to go to the Linux Text Layout Symposium in Boston at the start of October?
    • need simple performance test to demonstrate issues
  • enabling cocoa on mac
    • blocking on double redraw bug
    • blocking on announcing builds and getting some "it's ok" feedback
  • enabling cocoa-cairo on mac
    • 1-2 weeks after Cocoa is turned on

Firefox 3

  • should look at hacks that had to go in to Fx2 to visual look/functionality, and figure out where we can improve the core platform to support these better
