OpenH264 capabilities for WebRTC have been added to Firefox 33.
Project Status Updates
- Firefox 33
- OpenH264 is for WebRTC only for the first release
- ex: it doesn't enable playing back MP4 videos yet
- We do have sandboxing turned on with OpenH264.

OpenH264 support for WebRTC (desktop)
- Bug 948160 tracks work done on OpenH264 for the desktop and bugs against that feature.
