Mobile

  • [AT RISK] Build a prototype SDK that can build add-ons that use non-UI based features for Fennec
    • Currently depends on the new native UI Fennec which is still in flux

Localisation

  • [ON TRACK] Build an API that developers can use to localise JS strings
  • [ON TRACK] Create a plan for extending that API to allow localising HTML content

APIs

  • [ON TRACK] Land the platform support side of an IndexDB API to be ready for the developer-facing API in Q1 bug 587797
    • the risk could be review-time to land in Fx
  • [ON TRACK] Land Add-on Tab API bug 644595
  • [ON TRACK] Support community member finishing the Prefs API. Review and land it when complete.

Performance

  • [ON TRACK] Improve performance by making it so we don't have to unpack already generated XPIs in cfx run & cfx test.

Maintenance

  • [ON TRACK] Continue to release new versions of the SDK periodically with new features and bug fixes
