Thunderbird:Exchange
Warning: Exchange support in Thunderbird is not stable yet! We highly recommend backing up your Thunderbird profile before testing it.The current support of Exchange in Thunderbird is limited to email. Other features (calendar, address book) are planned to follow, but are not available yet.
Exchange support is currently enabled by default in 141 and later, as well as Daily and Beta builds. For those looking for a more polished, stable experience, we recommend waiting until 142 or later.
This feature can be trialled by adding an Exchange account using the usual process for adding a new email account to Thunderbird, and selecting the "Exchange Web Services" option (or the first "Exchange" option when using the new Account Hub).

While we definitely welcome your testing and feedback, please keep in mind this feature is currently experimental, and you may run into unexpected behavior or errors.
Only email for exchange is available and being discussed at this time. To report a problem, please file a bug report.

Support for Exchange in Thunderbird is still under active development, as such not all email-related features are available yet.
The following features will be available in stable releases of Thunderbird as of Thunderbird 144.0:
- Creating an account using account autoconfig
- Note: manual configuration is not supported yet.
- Displaying the list of folders for an account
- Displaying the list of messages in a selected folder
- Displaying the content of messages
- Sending messages
- Copying and moving messages
- Deleting messages
- Deleting folders
- Creating folders
- Saving and displaying attachments
- Quoting a message when replying to, or forwarding it
- Compacting folders
- Copying and moving folders
- Renaming folders
- Repairing folders
- Message filters
* Note: some filters, such as those requiring the full message body, isn't supported yet.
- Detaching/deleting attachments
The following email features are not supported yet:
- Retention policies
- Folder quotas
- Shared mailboxes
- OAuth authentication with on-premise instances
