Ab test

Overview

We are working with an outside design firm to run ongoing A/B tests on mozilla.com. Our first test will focus on en-US/firefox/ie.html.

Goal

Increase download conversion rate on en-US/firefox/ie.html

Requirements

All test variations must fit with the look and feel of mozilla.com and must be approved by our Creative Director, John Slater.

Layout

• Vertical navigation [1]
• Prominent Firefox screen shot [2], [3]
• Promote awards above the fold [4]
• Promote press links above the fold
• New background image
• Consolidate content (and increase page load speed) [5]
• Decrease header size [6]
• Incorporate "Faster, Safer, Smarter, Better" content above the fold
