Latin script should include basic variations, so supporting UTF-8 encoding already comes in to play for Umlauts and accents and stuff.

Example languages would include English, German, French, Polish, but also Vietnamese or Indonesian.

These languages shouldn't stress ligatures, fonts, IMEs, but may very well be multi-byte in UTF-8.
