Background

Selim is an editor at PCnet, Turkey's leading computer and internet magazine. He has written hundreds of articles mainly on software and internet related topics, and has been managing the magazine's website for 8 years, since he was 16. He has also contributed to LINUXnet, Computer Active Türkiye, and OYUNCU magazines.

He also works as a freelance translator, proofreader, writer, and webmaster.

He has contributed to many projects' translations/localizations, including Firefox, Google, Facebook, vBulletin, PHP-Nuke, Netvibes, and many more. He's also a meta editor at DMOZ, the largest human-edited directory of the web. He reads a lot. If he happens to see a film that needs Turkish subtitles to reach a broader audience, he translates film subtitles.
