Sounds like a cool project! Right now I have to open Notepad, insert a RTL embedding character, and copy and paste it into the browser in order to get punctuation to flow correctly when I'm typing in a right-to-left script...not sure if integrating the Text Services Framework will solve that, but it would be nice.

BTW, I bet your issue with the ffx crash reporter is due to this bug -- I installed the Flash 10 beta and now it activates as expected. - Neatnate 23:07, 22 June 2008 (PDT)
