I think this page misses out somewhat by not focusing on (some) 'bigger' issues: - Internal representation of messages - Better MIME support and integration of the MIME handling with the rest of the codebase - Overhauled filtering and automated manipulation of incoming messages - Overhaul of the message editor, both for plaintext and HTML - Support for new/other mail storage formats (maildir, databases, etc.)
