- for at least January I'm committed 50% to spring cleaning

In terms of what I think would be best to spend the time I can give Socorro, which is realistically ~25%, they would be

  • finish refactoring configs to use new [resources] section, working w/ :lars on this, and get this into prod, then get configs w/o secrets onto github
  • rsync for prod deploys - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=949693
  • making the pushes run in parallel for each tier, so processors, mware, collectors, etc
  • ensure sudo access across prod so that devs can push (possibly move this into chief, maybe wait for captain.mozilla.org to be finished [2-3 weeks probably])

The overall theme of this stuff is getting me out of the critical path for doing releases and most config changes, while also improving the speed of a release by a lot
