Europe hack days

Why?

Have some room to experiment with new things, learn new technologies, frameworks, methodologies. And share that knowledge amongst us.

When?

Usually, last Wednesday of the month. This can change based on delivery constraints.

On this day, we don't do reviews, respond to needinfos and we don't work on our regular tasks. If you participate, you should make sure no one is expecting to see you in a meeting, or things like that. For the outside world, it's as if you were on PTO.

What?

On this day, we work on whatever we want: a FxOS bug that's really bugging you, an idea for any Mozilla project, a personal project, testing a new technology, anything. The only constraint is that at the end of the day, you have to share your work with the rest of the group. We'll try to keep this under an hour so if anyone is participating, that means a 4 minute presentation.

Who?

Let's start this experiment with everyone involved in FirefoxOS in Europe (nice for timezones).

Where?

For presentations, join Anthony Ricaud's Vidyo room. It'll be recorded to share with people who couldn't attend (I don't intend to share more globally). Times are CEST (UTC +02:00).
