Contacting Individuals and Organizations
To get the Powered by Mozilla logo out into the community, we need to get in touch with people and organizations making applications with Mozilla technology to let them know about the logo.

Feel free to copy and modify this when contacting people about the logo:
I wanted to see if you would be interested in using the 'Powered by Mozilla' logo on your site. We're making this available to organizations that use parts of the Mozilla code base in their products as a way to build a community around these technologies. You can see the logo at
http://www.mozilla.org/poweredby
If you'd like to use the logo, we'd be happy to include a link to your site on the Powered by Mozilla landing page. If you'd like to talk more about this, please feel free to write me back. Thanks.

Survey
There is a lot about the community of people who are reusing Mozilla technologies that we don't know (the term dark matter comes up often in relation to this part of the community). Creating a survey to get a better understanding of needs, activities, etc seems like a good thing to do along with talking to people about the Powered by Mozilla logo.
