Summary
Context
The purpose of the virtual keyboard is to provide an interface to Firefox for people to type in various languages when a hardware keyboard is closed or not available to the device. It automatically pops up when the user touchs a text field.
Enabling the feature
On-screen keyboard feature is available starting with Firefox 42 and it can be enabled by setting the following pref to true:
ui.osk.enabled
On-screen keyboard feature will be enabled by default starting with Firefox 43.
