Channel Status

Beta (Fx 26)

• Fx26b10 out yesterday. Final next week.
• Fx26 sign-off discussion will happen this Thursday.

Aurora (Fx 27)

• Pre-beta feature sign-offs https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_27/Test_Plan#Features

Nightly (Fx 28)

• Aurora Merge sign-offs will be done next week https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_28/Test_Plan#Features
  • Use Holly builds, not Australis ones
• Merge will be from the Holly branch - NOT m-c.

Automation

• The last merge to production caused problems last Friday. I'm sorry for the inconvinience. We will try to get a staging server on SCL3 to not run into similar issues again.
• Working hard on the blocking Mozmill 2.0 blockers
• Speed improvement of about 25% for Mozmill 1.5.24 on OS X 10.6
• Mihaela is running tests for all platforms for holly builds (Australis builds looking fine) via CI until we do this automatically via Pulse notifications
• A recent change in Firefox for Metro to use the same application name broke our Mozmill automation

• [in progress] Anthony to communicate "effect of uplifts" more to mobile/desktop QA teams to get feedback, include methodology for collecting numbers

• We have a bunch of SSL related fixes. How do we test them?

• Revisit testing SSL (TLS) for next releases, since TLS 1.1 got pulled from Fx26.
