Headline speakers included:

  • Ruha Benjamin - Renowned scholar, Dr. Ruha Benjamin, joined Mozilla Foundation’s Executive Director, Nabiha Syed, for a conversation on imagination as an act of radical possibility and a path to new futures.
  • Chelsea Manning - The activist and whistleblower shared how her journey—from classified military intelligence to public whistleblowing to life as a network security advocate—has been defined not by what she learned, but by what she had the courage to unlearn.

2025's festival highlights included:

  • 2,195 attendees
  • Over 230 sessions over 3 days
  • Participants from 79 countries, 81% who attended the festival for the first time

  • the beginning of a new multi-year partnership with the City of Barcelona

Every one of those numbers reflects the collective strength of Mozilla: from our community, wranglers, and volunteers to our program, production, strategy, comms, platforms, people, legal, finance, and partners.
