Overview

The 15th Edition of Mozilla Festival was held at Poble Espanol in Barcelona, Spain, Nov 7 - 9.

Inspired by the 2025 theme of "Unlearning", over 2000 people came together to unlearn the old rules of the internet to imagine new ways to build, connect, and create together. Headline speakers included:

  • Ruha Benjamin - Renowned scholar, Dr. Ruha Benjamin, joined Mozilla Foundation’s Executive Director, Nabiha Syed, for a conversation on imagination as an act of radical possibility and a path to new futures.
  • Chelsea Manning - The activist and whistleblower shared how her journey—from classified military intelligence to public whistleblowing to life as a network security advocate—has been defined not by what she learned, but by what she had the courage to unlearn.
