This was the first Pepper API design and was created to minimize the changes from legacy NPAPI, hoping to ease adoption by browser vendors and plugin developers. The Pepper APIs have been redesigned subsequent to the initial design, deviating more substantially from legacy NPAPI while, hopefully, also improving the interfaces. The revised interfaces are referred to as “PPAPI” or “Pepper2”. | |||
