Popping the cork on the bottle of champagne when the Firefox and Thunderbird 1.0 download packages were added to the Mozilla Web site and the first downloads started to trickle in.  Seeing the turn around in market share growth for Firefox has been a tremendous success story for the Foundation and the project.

A member of Mozilla Europe’s board of directors, Axel Hecht is coordinating the localization of Mozilla applications worldwide on behalf of the Mozilla Corporation. Axel started contributing to Mozilla in 1999, working on XSLT.
