* I'd love to see a mock-up of the bookmarks toolbar with favicons restored, especially when the toolbar is full and it'll otherwise look like a grey jungle. This would also allow for an rss icon to be attached to livemarks, but still keep a dropmarker. The current solution (just having an rss icon AS the dropmarker) gives no suggestion that it's even a drop menu. Even if it ultimately doesn't fit the theme, I think it's worth investigating.

*** There was a lot of discussion about this on bug 348719. They're not more distracting than icons on tabs, I think. But they do allow a user to reduce their bookmarks bar significantly by relying on just icons and minimal (if any) text. I use Firefox on Windows and Mac on a daily basis, and this is the thing I miss most in the UI of the latter. I don't have high hopes they'll return, but I'd be interested to see how they look. I had them working with the current theme and I thought it looked noticeably poorer when I went back to builds without them, but I'm probably biased ;) [[User:W.woods|W.woods]]
