SCL2 work

• Kickstarting is working well for RHEL 6.0
  • Side distraction of trying to "switch back" to RHEL 5.5 (based on concerns of puppet configs)
    • This was a big time sink -- RHEL 5.5 has issues doing what I want it to do (does not like the PXE/local combo boot with RAID)
    • Will work on puppet conversion today with petef

Upcoming production work

• Key exchange server update
  • Improves credentials exchange over flaky network connections
  • Implements CEF logging changes required by infrasec

• Sreg server update
  • Implements "password reset code" function required by account portal
  • Pending staging tests to confirm that everything works right

• Account portal beta deploy
  • Doing this in parallel with staging tests and security review
  • Required to verify production network ACLs
  • Hidden from end-users until dev/qa/ops/sec signoff

Engineering

Account Management Portal (Toby)

• Now staged and undergoing security review.
• Because of API mismatch between python and php server and ops availablility, now going to stage directly to production. Since it's not public, that shouldn't be a problem.
• Have worked with Ragavan on strings

Next-gen Reg/Sync Server (Tarek)

• auth refactoring in progress for reg/sreg
• core cleanups (heartbeat, debug pages, etc)
• documentation + application template

PAKE server (Tarek)

• Need to sync the wiki page about the new server API
• Will add documentation on CEF log names
• Need to hook a functional test that runs on dev/stage

Identity Server (JR)

• Established milestone dates for ID serve
• fixed unauth'd login process (for access without widget)

ToDo:

• Test cases for unauth login flow, Hudson redis, etc.
• Site ID generator (with tests)
• Work w/ rnewman RE: javascript library?

QA

• Smoketests against jpake staging server changes last week
• Focusing on nightly testing, places work landing
• Release testing on FF Home 1.1.1. Focus testing around flaky wifi patch (bug 618969

Security

• 3rd party testing complete - all bugs filed
• J-PAKE Security testing nearing completion. Remaining focus is finishing verification of CEF logging for security monitoring and ensuring blacklisting cannot be used to blacklist other IP addresses
• Account portal security testing has been delayed due to non-functioning application. Account portal will be moved to internal-only-access prod deployment to enable testing.
