: This sounds like {{bug|86607}}, you can disable mailnews.send_plaintext_flowed as a workaround. I agree to the extent that a better control on flowed format should be given both for display and composition, especially given that other mail clients don't follow RFC3676, but in general its a good feature to allow the displaying e-mail client to match the display to the respective window width.
