Builds & Releases

  • Tagged v5.0
    • First TestFlight Beta will follow soon
    • String Export today or tomorrow
    • Because of the mobile reorganization we are not following the regular train schedule. Our plan is to have the app in review before the end of the month.

Development Updates / Work in Progress

As result of the mobile reorganization the iOS team is currently not looking much beyond v5.0. Our focus is to make 5.0 as stable as possible.

  • Telemetry Core Ping now also sends session stats and search engine selection
  • Enabled bi-directional bookmark sync
  • Sync status UI (in status bar and settings)
  • Ability to recover closed tabs

  • Combine history related home panels (remote tabs now under history, layout changes, recently closed tabs)
  • Fixes for keyboard issues
  • Toolbar and Menu redesign
  • Ability to set a homepage, together with china-specific changes
  • Ability to add custom search engines
  • Keyboard shortcuts for iPad (or any device with external keyboard)
