:if we don't require registration, we need a reasonable way to handle abusers. requiring registration would discourage abuse, but also probably discourage people who don't want to bother signing up. if we require a confirmation email, that would REALLY discourage quick commenters (e.g. someone downloads it, likes it, and wants to say, "cool!" but isn't willing to put up with registration or email confirmations) --[[User:CTho|CTho]] 19:09, 13 Jun 2005 (PDT) | |||
