Mozilla's Summer Code Party: rolling all summer long

Kicking off with a global "Weekend of Code" June 23 & 24.
Then continuing all summer long.

Wrapping up with a big "show and tell" finale in September.

1) Global Weekend of Code: June 23-24

Getting the party started with two days of events and teach-ins around the world.
People teaching and learning coding and webmaking together. Through local partners and communities around the world.

  • MEET with friends or go to an event.
  • MAKE something cool on the web. (With great tools and resources from Mozilla and partners to help make it easy and fun.)
  • LEARN new skills along the way. The basics of coding, webmaking and digital literacy.

Get involved: Sign up here to host or attend an event

2) Ongoing Summer Events

Keep learning all summer by hosting and attending more events - maybe with the same set of folks, or maybe new groups! Or just continue to make stuff yourself. We will provide lots of content for you to use to 'level up' or hone multiple skills. Plus, there will be lots of content and options from partners as well. Plenty to keep you and other learners busy all summer long!

3) Wrap-up Show-N-Tells

Every good party has a grand finale.

  • showcase all of the learning and making that occurred over the summer
  • so we'll help drive a bunch of show-n-tells - local and virtual.
  • share your work, meet other webmakers, earn badges and celebrate an awesome summer together.
