Arriving in France

Entry Fee

There is no fee to enter the country of France.

Airport

There are two airports in Paris: Paris Orly (ORY) and Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) . Mozilla Greeters will be at both of the airports on Friday, June 14th from 8am - 7pm. They are meeting you when you get out of the baggage claim area and will show you the way via public transportation to the hotel in Paris. It will take about 60 min in total to get to the center of Paris.

Transportation to Hotel

Taxi

Taxis can easily be acquired easily at the airport. Once you exit baggage claim, please proceed directly to the taxi line. Taxis from the airport to the Crowne Plaza should take about 30 minutes. In order to avoid being overcharged, try and negotiate your rate before leaving the airport or prepay for your journey.

Metro

If you travel on your own, arrive before Friday, or do not find any Mozilla greeter, please find directions here:

(1) Airport ORLY (arrival Orly-Ouest) to Hotel "Crowne Plaza Paris Republique" :

- look for the signs that show a train / metro until you stand in front of a ticket counter within the airport - Buy a one way ticket to Paris at the ticket counter or machine (1 Ticket = 11,30 Euro). - go upstairs the escalator right behind the ticket counter and take the airport-train up to the station ANTONY (takes 8min). - connect from ANTONY on the line RER #B (light blue) towards direction MITRY-CLAYE or AEROPORTE CHARLES DE GAULLE and get off the station GARE DU NORD (ride takes 28min). - you arrive at level minus 3 and have to go upstairs to level minus 2 and look for the sign that shows the orange metro line #M5 - follow these signs (2 min walk within the building) and go onto the metro line #M5 towards direction PLACE D'ITALIE (ride takes 5min) - Get off the station REPUBLIQUE and look for the exit number 3 (french sortie) and go upstairs. - You will see the Crowne Plaza Hotel right in front of you on your side.

(2) Airport CHARLES DE GAULLE (CDG) to Hotel "Crowne Plaza Paris Republique" :

- look for the signs that show a train / metro - Buy a one way ticket to Paris at any ticket counter or machine (1 Ticket = 11,30 Euro). - look for the signs that show line RER #B (light blue) towards direction ST-REMY-LES CHEVREUSE or ROBINSON and get off the station GARE DU NORD (ride takes 28min). - you arrive at level minus 3 and have to go upstairs to level minus 2 and look for the sign that shows the orange metro line #M5 - follow these signs (2 min walk within the building) and go onto the metro line #M5 towards direction PLACE D'ITALIE (ride takes 5min) - Get off the station REPUBLIQUE and look for the exit number 3 (french sortie) and go upstairs. - You will see the Crowne Plaza Hotel right in front of you on your side.

Assembly Reception Desk

Wolff will be staffing a reception desk in the lobby of the hotel Friday afternoon, Sunday evening after the event concludes, and Monday morning.

• Thursday: Check-in will be directly at the hotel front desk
• Friday afternoon: Check-in with Wolff at their reception desk
• Saturday morning: Please meet at the reception desk in the main lobby at [Time] to depart together to the office.

At check-out You will get the room key card after they obtain a photocopy your passport at Reception Desk. When departing, please surrender your key card at the front desk.
